The reason I still see Dr. 关 given the multiple bad experience is that he is the only one in the UCSF pain can handle my case based on multiple feedbacks from other UCSF doctors that are currently seeing me.

Again it was upsetting that the nurses seemed surprised about the nature of my appointment and the doctor who I was scheduled to see wasn't present until searched for and he didn't administer my shots.

The resident on the call was very friendly and had good bedside manner and was a good listener. The doctor was a good listener as well but seemed a little bit dismissive for a first encounter. The resident asked most of the initial questions and the doctor followed up at the end of the call with offering to do a nerve block procedure. Other options risks benefits etc were not discussed. I did mention how long I'd been waiting to just schedule an apt and the doctor apologized and said he'd let the management know and I appreciated that.

I would have liked a written version of the procedure for explaining to me and family exactly what is being done.

He was very kind and caring quite unlike the care I recently received by Marin health/ucsfAnd extremely knowledgeable about the origins of my specific issues

I'd like him to do the procedure not a resident
